driving forces behind climate changes. Examines data and methods used in
paleoclimate research. Includes discussion of literature and stresses local
paleoclimate records. Three lectures per week, along with field trips. Prerequisite:
GEO/WATS 3600 or permission of instructor. Also taught as GEO 6680/5680 and
