Annually mapped permanent quadrats represent a gold mine of data for research in plant demography and population dynamics (see Adler's Research). One of the primary reasons we are investing so much time in digitizing historic chart quadrat datasets is to distribute them to the research community. We plan to distribute three forms of data on this page: 1) a quality controlled version of each dataset in complete detail, 2) a summary of mean species abundances by year, and 3) demographic parameters estimated by our statistical models.
