CEEM Short Course Option
The MNR with a specialization in Ecosystem Management is designed to give students an understanding of how human dimensions, ecology, and economics function and interact, and apply this understanding to ecosystem and landscape management. The foundation of this option are a series of short courses offered through CEEM (Continuing Education in Ecosystem Management).
All required courses are offered in short-course format. The length of courses varies from 2-days to 2-weeks. Elective courses are also offered in short-course format or as web-based courses.
Please contact Judy Kurtzman for futher information on the CEEM based MNR.
Upon acceptance into the degree program the student is assigned a Supervisory Committee consisting of three faculty members with expertise in the area of emphasis. The committee is responsible for overseeing the course of studies, approval of electives and supervision of the Integrative Experience (NR 6600).
