Faculty advisors help students explore career opportunities in natural resources. Your faculty advisor is a professor from your department who has a wealth of experience that helps him or her give you good advice about your academic program. Take advantage of your advisor’s insight as you plan your class schedules each semester and throughout your college career. Your faculty advisor may also be able to help you connect with summer internships or undergraduate research opportunities.
Faculty advisors evaluate transfer credits for your major. It's important for students to have their transfer credits evaluated prior to registering for their first semester at Utah State so they can correctly sequence their classes and graduate in a timely manner.
Faculty advisors are assigned according to your major.
In the event of work-related travel or sabbatical, faculty may be unavailable during the semester. You may alternately contact the College of Natural Resources Academic Advising Center, 435.797.2448, nradvise@usu.edu.
