Students currently attending another school and planning to transfer to Utah State University's College of Natural Resources should concentrate on courses that fulfill the first and second year requirements for their major of interest. This includes coursework in basic biological and physical sciences, mathematics, statistics, and writing.
We recommend that you contact an advisor in the College of Natural Resources prior to starting coursework at another institution to ensure that your credits will transfer. Students who plan to transfer from a Utah college or university may consult the Transfer Articulation Agreements. Additional substitutions may be negotiated with a faculty advisor.
Students transferring from a college or university outside of Utah may request a transcript evaluation through the CNR Academic Service Center by sending an e-mail to nradvise@cc.usu.edu.
Because of the professional nature of some majors, students who enter with two years of transfer courses may need more than two years to complete their degrees.
