Description:          Established by Dr. Ted J. Alsop, geography professor and advocate of the student. This
                              scholarship is based on financial need and is intended to help defray the cost of learning
                              materials associated with the recipient‘s undergraduate academic program.
 
Amount Info:         $300 total for fall semester.
 
Criteria:                  Applicants must be majoring in Geography or Geography Teaching, have an accumulative
                               GPA greater than 3.0, and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must attach a letter
                               explaining their financial need in order to be considered for this award.
