Description:           Established by Albert and Geneva Mitchell to give back to the institution that has been so
                              good to their family. Albert graduated in Forestry in the 1940's and had numerous children
                              and grandchildren who attended Utah State as well. Albert and Geneva lived in Idaho and
                              operated a cattle ranch for much of their lives. They both passed away in Fall 2006.
 
Amount Info:         $500 total/ $250 per semester for one academic year.
 
Criteria:                  Awarded to a Forestry student who has a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrated financial need,
                               and a successful leadership record. Recipient must also be paying out-of-state tuition (or be
                               on a program like WUE, USU/ISU exchange, etc.). Preference given to students from Idaho.
