Library Instruction
With the cooperation of the Merrill-Cazier reference librarians, we will visit during your class time or you can schedule for small groups to meet with us by appointment. We cater our instruction to match your needs covering general library services or specific databases.
Walk-ins Welcome
For help using a single library service such as Web-of-Science searching or electronic journal access, or to receive an orientation to all library services. Our onsite equipment provides functionality for creating digital images as well as PDF files while accurately retaining the formatting and layout of documents. We will show how to use this equipment or do the job for you (within certain limits – see FACT link at the bottom of this page for large jobs).
Book Requests
Book purchase requests may be submitted online. Consideration will be given to natural resources based books that are unique to the Quinney Library.
Fee-Based Bibliographic Research
Quinney Library can conduct librarian-mediated searching through a fee-based Dialog Search Service. The service will be limited to CNR affiliated personnel and the cost will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan requests to borrow materials from other libraries should be made via the Merrill-Cazier Interlibrary Loan Department on the web. Stop in if you need help using this feature.
